To search for an opportunity to volunteer you will enter the Oregon.gov website, a data base
provided by the Oregon State Department of Human Services for VolunteerColumbia
to use.
To get into the database you will click on
- Click on Opportunity Search on the left hand side of the page.
- You will come to the Opportunity Search page.
- Go to Select a County, enter Columbia County, click search, and you will see all the opportunities in
Columbia County. *
- Each opportunity invites you to 'click here for details or to sign up', you can only proceed if you have registered
as a volunteer in this database. If you are not registered you can contact the person listed on the opportunity.
*Note if you chose Show all Opportunities or Select a Preference you will get a statewide search
if you are interested in opportunities beyond Columbia County.

like, why not build your own? You tell us what you would like to do and we will send that to all of our Volunteer Columbia
partners. Send us an email with your Build a VOL-EE-BEAR information and Volunteer Columbia will take if
from there.
